The alcohol scene in Chicago has just welcomed a new favorite: Hoste Cocktails. Known for its premium bottled cocktails, including the award-winning Gold Fashioned, the brand is opening its first brick-and-mortar space in Pilsen. The 15,000-square-foot venue will be a hub for cocktail enthusiasts, community gatherings, and cultural experiences.
The team behind Hoste previously worked on Apologue Liqueurs, a line of all-natural liqueurs now available in 15 states and featured on the backbars of leading cocktail programs and Michelin-starred restaurants across the U.S.
The new space emphasizes bringing people together through curated public events and private gatherings, fostering genuine connections through shared experiences.
Jordan Tepper, co-founder of Hoste Cocktails:
This space is a celebration of everything we believe in. We’re proud to have a home in Pilsen—a neighborhood full of energy, history, and artistry—and we can’t wait to welcome people in. Whether you’re here for a wedding, a tasting, a live show, or just to connect with friends, our hope is that it always feels like a place you belong.
What to know about Hoste Cocktails’ flagship location
Hoste’s General Manager, Natalie Figueroa, has planned a series of events to celebrate the vibrant Pilsen community, starting in May. Here are some of the programs to look forward to:
- Day Parties like Blase’, featuring local and national DJs such as Cash Era and Sukigeez, spinning dance beats from R&B to Afro-beats and house music.
- Health & Wellness Events, including Sound Healing and Yoga sessions, are designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation through guided meditation and Reiki.
- Social Gatherings, such as Midnight Hibiscus, a monthly live music event featuring salsa classes, a three-course meal, and performances by local talent like Pilsen’s own Lester Rey.
- Markets like Sauced Night Market and the Chicago Vegan Test Kitchen, where local vendors showcase their culinary creations.
Additionally, the venue plans to introduce daytime café service and co-working access, offering food and drink from local vendors such as Dark Matter Coffee and Volition Tea. Although not yet open during daytime hours, this expansion is expected to occur later this year.
