Replay Lincoln Park has magically transformed into The Hog’s Head Inn!
Calling all wizard and witches! Replay Lincoln Park has decided to extend its popular Harry Potter pop-up bar again! “A Very Harry Winter” will be open until Feb 9 for muggles and magical beings alike! Board the Hogwarts Express (Brown Line train) and get off at Diversey for your chance to drink butterbeer at the Hog’s Head Inn this winter.
If Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone is your favorite Christmas movie and you’re a card-carrying member of the Society for the Promotion of Elvish Welfare (SPEW), you have to check out this pop-up bar. Replay has really outdone themselves transforming their backroom pop-up venue into a Wizarding World hangout.
The bar counter looks just like Harry’s favorite Hogsmead pub, The Hog’s Head Inn, with a giant boar head mounted on the wall and fake candles hanging from the ceiling. Arthur Weasley’s Ford Anglia crashes through the ceiling, the Whomping Willow’s branches sticking out at odd angles. There’s also a mini Honeydukes candy shop, an Olivander’s wand shop, and a full-size dragon head barreling out of Gringotts Bank. You can even cast spells with Replay’s VR Harry Potter experience!
Replay has partnered with nearby Zizi’s Cafe to offer a number of Hogwartsian treats including Hogwarts Housecup Chicken, Huffle Pizza Puffs, and something called the Paddington Burge. The bar is also serving a number of drinks Harry Potter fans will recognize. Of course, Butterbeer makes an appearance on the menu, as well as cocktails inspired by each Hogwarts house, Wolfsbane, and a Fire Whiskey shot. Careful drinking the Blood of the Unicorn Ale, though; it didn’t work out so well for Voldemort.

Replay is a barcade known for its elaborate pop-up concepts. It’s recent Rick & Morty pop up was a huge success that featured Pickle Rick shots served in real, carved out pickles. The bar often hosts two pop-ups at once, one in the backroom and another in the main area. In addition to high concept pop-ups, Replay also has retro vintage arcade games, most of which are free to play. There’s no cover at Replay, so leave your galleons at home.
The Harry Potter Christmas Pop-Up was previously only going to be open until Jan 5, but due to popular demand has extended its operation to Jan 19th! No reservation is required. You must be 21+ with a valid ID to enter. Prefer Lord of The Rings? Replay just opened it’s Tolkien-inspired concept “The One Pop-Up To Rule Them All!”
