Potterheads get ready! “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is set to embark on its first-ever North American tour next year, making its debut in Chicago.
The Tony Award-winning play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will embark on its first-ever North American tour next year, and the production will debut in Chicago. The play debuted at London’s “Palace Theatre” in 2016 and is still running. It debuted on Broadway in April 2018 and is still running.

What is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child about?
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” based on a story written by the book series author J.K. Rowling, follows the story of Harry Potter’s son Albus, who is arriving at Hogwarts for the first time.
“When Harry Potter’s head-strong son Albus befriends the son of his fiercest rival, Draco Malfoy, it sparks an unbelievable new journey for them all—with the power to change the past and future forever.” The play runs for nearly three and a half hours, with an intermission included.
When are the dates?
The Broadway play is currently scheduled to run from September 10th, 2024, to February 1st, 2025.
