The 18,000-squared-foot space will offer Ramsay’s most famous recipes!
Having only just ventured into the Chicago restaurant scene with a ritzy new burger restaurant a few months ago, Gordon Ramsay Burger has announced plans to open a second restaurant in River North.
This time, the internationally-renowned chef will open a restaurant by the name of Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen inspired by the popular TV show. Scheduled to open in 2023, it will take over the space at 508 N State Street previously occupied by the Mexican restaurant Cantina Laredo.
At 18,000 square feet, the two-story restaurant will be more than three times the size of the 5,000-square-foot Gordon Ramsay Burger that recently opened just a few blocks away on the corner of N. State Street and E. Ontario Street.
Entering the restaurant guests will be greeted by the distinct flaming Hell’s Kitchen logo and a setup resembling the TV show. There will even be an open kitchen so guests can watch iconic Gordon Ramsay’s well-known dishes such as sticky toffee pudding and beef Wellingtonwill being cooked before their eyes.
The Chicago Hell’s Kitchen is one of three new Hell’s Kitchen restaurants coming to America adding to the first and only Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace.
“We’re going to kick off in Washington followed by Miami and then in Chicago. That’s right Hell’s Kitchen is coming to a city near you. I can’t wait for you to walk through the doors of that incredible restaurant, take on the atmosphere, sit down and enjoy the food, and have fun at the bar” Gordon Ramsay announced via his social media channels.
