The one-off Rooftop Asylum Halloween Party will feature 9 igloos each with its own frightening theme.
Want to celebrate Halloween in style? Look no further! The Godfrey Hotel in River North has announced the return of its haunted igloos that graced their 4th-floor all-seasons rooftop last Halloween season.
Once again River North revelers can book a heated igloo on the award-winning luxury lifestyle hotel’s stunning rooftop and kick back with Halloween-themed drinks and snacks in one of the best spots in town. Taking place on Saturday, October 30, The Godfrey Hotel Chicago’s Rooftop Asylum Halloween Party will be full of sensational spectacles and sinister surprises.
Eight haunted igloos and one giant igloo will be decked out in themed décor giving each and every igloo its own terrifying theme. From Children of the Corn to a torture-themed igloo, all will be decorated in a haunted medical asylum theme. Once guests are settled into their spooky spherical sanctuaries entertainment will unravel across the rooftop including fire performers, a contortionist, a stilt walker, and much more.
As well as an eclectic mix of entertainment, guests can feast on themed snacks and drinks options. Toxic Waste Mac & Cheese, Bloody Popcorn, and the Charcuterie Skull filled with various meats and cheeses are a few mouth-watering options, while sushi will be served with red and black rice.
An array of crafted cocktails provide some tantalizingly-tasty tipples that will certainly send your senses reeling such as the In Cold Blood, Skull-gria, and a Purple Poison made from Ketel One Vodka, St-Germain, butterfly pea flower, gold powder, fresh lemon juice, and magic. Order the Transfusion Punch and you’ll find yourself drinking Bulleit Bourbon, muddled blackberry, house-made lemonade, agave, and mint served in a blood bag while the Hell Frosés Over cocktail comes garnished with an edible eyeball.
