Chicago’s Godfrey Hotel Debuting Spooky Igloos On River North Rooftop

Want to celebrate Halloween in style? Look no further

The Godfrey Hotel is inviting guests to enjoy its annual winter wonderland but this time with a slight difference. From Saturday, October 31st parties of 2 to 6 people can book a haunted and heated igloo on the Godfrey Hotel’s stunning rooftop and kick back with Halloween-themed drinks and s’mores in one of the best spots in town.

The Windy City might plummet to teeth-chattering temperatures but at the city’s only year-round rooftop lounge guests can cozy up in a warm igloo and enjoy a cocktail or three while feasting on spooky treats. The hotel’s state-of-the-art retractable roof opens up to reveal a winter wonderland event clear-domed igloos bedecked with spooky decor.  Revelers can admire fire dancing, a live DJ, and unique seasonal snacks all beneath the city lights and within a personal snow-globe.

Embrace the rooftops chilly season by roasting over outdoor firepits and sipping on bourbon, ginger liqueur, or a spice-infused Smashing Pumpkin. There are prizes for the best-dressed visitor so those who best get into character will be rewarded!

• Guests must wear a face covering when not at the table.
• Tables cannot be moved and will remain 6 feet from one another.
• Maximum of 6 people per group.
• No back-to-back bookings.
• Rooftopwill close at 11 pm and the last call for drinks will be at drinks is 10:30 pm
