The Chinese Lunar New Year is February 17, and this weekend in Chicago, the Windy City’s largest Asian food hall and market is celebrating with a two day festival!

Gangnam Market in River West bringing back its annual Lunar New Year Celebration from Saturday, February 14–Sunday, February 15.
The celebration will run from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. each day. Guests will enjoy free Asian food options like candied fruit skewers or “Tanghulu” along with beverages, plus beer and wine samples from market vendors.
Lion dancing and drum performances will take place each day between 2 and 4 p.m., and roaming Pokémon characters will be available for photo ops.
