The rumors are true—viral drive-thru beverage chain Dutch Bros is bringing its fan-favorite coffees, matchas, and other treats to Illinois.
Dutch Bros Urbana coming soon
A Tik Tok shared Monday by user @camila.guzmannnn shows a sign reading “stoked to see you soon” with Dutch Bros signature logo in front of a construction site.
The new location will be the first Dutch Bros to open in Illinois. The Oregon-headquartered chain has a large presence in the western United States.
Here’s the not-so-fun part—the location shown in the Tik Tok is at the corner of Green and Lincoln Streets in downstate Urbana, Illinois.
So while this is great news for University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign students, Chicagoans will have to drive over 2 hours to snag their favorite drink.
Could this be the start of a full-on Dutch Bros expansion in the Prairie State? We’ve got our fingers crossed!
