Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson reportedly announced the development during his annual state of the village address last week.
The new Dutch Bros is part of a larger ice arena project and surrounding retail district coming to the suburb.
Dutch Bros is currently expanding its Chicagoland footprint with two additional locations set to open this year in Melrose Park and Oak Park, according to reports.
The coffee chain has gained massive popularity on social media in recent years for its wide variety of coffees, energy drinks, and other beverages with customizable flavors.
The plans for the Elk Grove Village drive thru appear to be in the very early stages, so an official opening timeline is still unclear.
