It’s time to park up and enjoy some festive flicks retro-style.
Lincoln Yards will be hosting a series of family-friendly holiday films this December. Developer Sterling Bay has united with Lincoln Square’s historic Davis Theater to create a special “pop-up” drive-in cinema experience with the highest levels of safety
From Thursday, December 10 through December 26 the lot in the heart of Lincoln Yards at 1684 N Throop Street will be showing some of the typical holiday favorites like Elf, Gremlins, Home Alone, and Bill Murray’s Scrooged. The huge 30′ blowup screen will show seven festive flicks on various days with the last of these, Die Hard, screening on the day after Christmas.
Masks are obligatory and lot spaces be a safe distance apart with 10′ bubbles around parked cars to ensure social distancing. Lot check-ins will begin at 6 pm on each night, with all showings starting at 7 pm. Tickets, regardless of the number of people, are $35 per vehicle and can be bought via the Davis Theater’s Website. Customers can be added to a waitlist their desired film sells out.
