District Brew Yards are throwing their first puppy party of the season and it sounds like the most wholesome afternoon.
For those of you who aren’t all that familiar with the West Loop hideout, District Brew Yards is the nation’s first collective production brewery, pour-your-own beer hall, and shop combination all under the roof of a former warehouse. But it’s not about what’s under the roof that has us excited, it’s what’s outside that matters. District Brew Yards’ patio is a guaranteed good time, with heaters, fire pits, prismatic murals, and ample space to accommodate numerous revelers safely, it’s an ideal spring and summer escape.
This coming weekend, however, there’s even more reason to head down. District Brew Yards are hosting their first outdoor pup party of the year three days before National Bulldog Day, on Sunday, April 18, and all four-legged friends across the city are invited to come and join in the fun.
With the ample outdoor space @BrewYards, @BoldDogBeerCo will hold an outdoor pup party on April 18th from 1-5pm. They'll also be releasing Bubba Berry Light Lager – a light lager with berries. pic.twitter.com/QQE5z71M3l

In addition to the 40 unique drafts and specialty smoked meats from Lillie’s Q barbecue and chicken, Bold Dog Beer Co will debut a new beer, Bubba Berry Light Lager, brewed in honor of the brewery’s 2020 National Bulldog Day contest winner, Bubba.
As you enter you’ll receive a card that allows you to pour your own beers which are charged by the ounce. Four different stations and a rotating “Fourth Wall” provide a wide array of different beers and ciders. Guests need to enter via the front door on 417 N. Ashland Avenue to check in for a beer card and help Brewyards maintain safe social distancing measures throughout the day.
The pup party will take place on April 18 from 1 pm – 5 pm in the south-facing patio.
