Don’t miss this LIVE dance music event with fully-amplified electronic sounds and mind-boggling visuals.
One of the world’s most reputed electronic DJs is coming to W 71st Stree, Chicago at the end of October in an electronic dance music reawakening. This Halloween the SeatGeek Stadium will host the Canadian-born mouse-eared musician Deadmau5 in a bass-dropping drive-in concert sure to have earth-shaking sounds and spellbinding individuals. Joel Zimmerman, also known as Deadmau5, has selected Chicago as the place for his annual Day of the Deadmau5 this Halloween. It will see the grammy-nominated DJ ditch his usual 21-foot-tall cube and instead transform the SeatGeek parking lot into a multi-sensory spectacle on both Friday 30th and Saturday 31st at the end of October.
The event will be socially-distanced but promise the same groundbreaking beats and electrifying visuals that past Deadmau5 are renowned for. Zimmerman has been assisted by pioneering musicians Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo in his latest creation “Pomegranate” which moves into the realm of disco-tinged electro-pop. There’s the chance Zimmerman may debut a more of his new tracks so those keen Deadmau5 fans could be in for a treat, but it is sure to be an equally enlightening experience for both newcomers and long-time Deadmau5 fans.
