CTA’s Pride Train will be running on the Red Line all summer long through fall.
The CTA pride train is back! The rainbow-wrapped Pride Train again features a “more inclusive design” with both the blue, pink, and white stripes of the Transgender Flag and a variation of the rainbow-striped Pride flag with black and brown stripes that debuted in Philadelphia back in 2017.
“Chicago is proud to be home to a thriving and vibrant LGBTQ+ community. The Pride Train is a reminder to residents and visitors alike that our LGBTQ+ siblings are not only welcome here in Chicago but celebrated” said Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

This is the Pride Train’s 6th year having last year celebrated its 5th anniversary. In 2017, Chicago became the first major U.S. transit agency to designate a Pride Train featuring the Pride rainbow flag.
