Public transportation plays a crucial role in our daily lives in Chicago. This is evident as train cars become packed during rush hour, an hour before a baseball game, or when there is a concert at Soldier Field. It is the fastest way to get from one place to another.
However, it does come with a cost: a single train ride costs $2.50, while one-day passes are available for $5. You might be interested to know that there are ways to ride the L for free. Read below to see if you qualify.
