Here is the official CPS 2026-2027 school calendar—it includes key dates approved by the Chicago Board of Education, from spring break to the last day of school.

• Parent-Teacher Conferences (No Students in Attendance): November 2, 2026
• Election Day (Holiday): November 3, 2026
• Professional Development Day (No Students in Attendance): November 11, 2026
• Thanksgiving Break (Holiday): November 23–27, 2026

December 2026

• Winter Break (Holiday): December 21, 2026 – January 1, 2027

January 2027

• Professional Development Day (No Students in Attendance): January 4, 2027
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Holiday): January 18, 2027
• Professional Development Day (No Students in Attendance): January 29, 2027

February 2027
