Corner Bakery Is Offering Free Hand-Roasted Coffees For The Rest Of 2020

They say a bad day with coffee is better than a good day without it. So surely a bad day with FREE coffee is as good as it gets? In the spirit of giving, Corner Bakery has announced that from Monday, November 16, it will be giving away free coffees with no strings attached. The ‘Free Coffee At The Corner‘ deal will be available for pick up, to go, or delivery from Corner Bakeries across Illinois as well as 14 other states through December 31, 2020. Customers must only type in the code FREECOFFEE at checkout with no other purchase or subscription of any kind required. Other states are also offering free coffee for those dining-in with customers only having to mention that they would like a free coffee to receive one. This is, of course, subject to local regulations so unfortunately for us Illinoisans Covid-19 indoor dining restrictions mean that we won’t be dining-in in Illinois any time soon.

New owner Jay Pandya acquired Corner Bakery only last month in October of 2020. His act of generosity comes in response to the tough year it has been for all. “In light of the times, I could not think of a better way to welcome customers into our cafes than with a hot cup of coffee on the house.” Panya hopes that the company’s generosity will be a bright spot in a world full of uncertainty and that a “complimentary, delicious, hand-roasted cup of coffee” is the least they can do.

On a small neighborhood corner in Chicago is, of course, where Corner Bakery began.  A humble bakery selling artisan breads and freshly baked sweets expanded as neighbors began requesting sandwiches made with the bakery’s unique bread. As the bakery’s menu grew so too did the business and today Corner Bakeries can be found all over the United States.
