Already boasting an impressive lineup of internationally recognized music festivals like Lollapalooza in Grant Park and Pitchfork Music Festival in Union Park, last year the City of Chicago added another music festival to the mixer. The difference? This one offered a lineup made up of entirely Latin music.
The largest Latin music event ever to have been held in Grant Park, the inaugural Sueños festival featured headlines such as J Balvin, Ozuna, and Wisin & Yandel as well as a roster of other Latin music stars such as Myke Towers, Jhay Cortez, El Alfa, and Chicago artist DJ Mariam.
This year the two-day festival will again be held in Grant Park this Memorial Day weekend and the lineup is incredible featuring artists like Grupo Firme, Becky G, Ivy Queen, and so many others!
This year will see more than 20+ famed Latin artists take to the stage as well as a range of “all-new experiential activities and activations” located around the park.
There will again be multiple bars, delicious local food vendors, free water stations, a merchandise store, and a bigger Ferris Wheel.
Ticket prices vary with the cheapest available a 2-DAY General Admission pass costing $199+fees. General Admission+ passes then cost $329+fees and a VIP pass costs $399+fees each including their respective expedited entrance, dedicated bathrooms, dedicated bars, and a dedicated area.
The most expensive pass, the El Sueño pass at $999+fees comes with a range of benefits including complimentary beer, wine, cocktails, energy drinks, and food available all day in El Sueño Lounge.
El Sueño pass holders will also be offered express entry with golf cart pick-up at El Sueño dedicated entrance and dropped-off at the El Sueño Lounge where they’ll have exclusive access to the best views in the festival and prime sight-lines of the Main stage.
Be aware that each type of pass has 3 tiers all for the same ticket but at rising prices as the festival dates approach and the tier sells out.
There is also a layaway plan offering the option of paying in monthly installments.
