Snow will begin falling Friday afternoon, with daytime accumulation totals up to 3 inches possible, according to the NWS.
Precipitation will continue into the evening hours, with additional accumulation up to 3 inches predicted. Friday’s overnight low will plummet to 10 degrees, with wind chill values as low as -6 degrees.

Snow and high winds will carry into Saturday morning, with skies clearing come nighttime. Overall, Chicago could see 6+ inches of snow on the high end over the next 24 hours.
