A Chicagoland city was just named the best city to live in America—for the third year in a row!

Naperville #1 Best City to Live in America
Naperville claimed the #1 spot on the Best Cities to Live in America ranking from education research website Niche.com.
The list compiled data from cities across the country, including public school quality, crime and safety statistics, housing availability, and other factors.
Naperville received top scores in nearly every category:
- Public Schools: A+
- Crime & Safety: B
- Housing: A-
- Nightlife: A-
- Good for Families: A+
- Diversity: A-
Naperville outranked other top U.S. cities including Cambridge, Massachusetts, Arlington, Virginia, and The Woodlands, Texas.
Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli celebrated the achievement in a statement obtained by the Daily Herald.
“It’s a tremendous honor,” said Wehrli, “But more than anything I think it’s a reflection of the people of Naperville.”
