The Windy City is getting its first-ever sports entertainment team in 2026—taking inspiration from the likes of the viral Savannah Bananas and Harlem Globetrotters!
The Chicago Snowballs are launching in Spring 2026, as pro baseball’s inaugural co-ed “sportstainment” baseball team, according to the Snowballs’ official site.
The team will reimagine America’s favorite pastime, bringing together athletic feats and high-energy circus acts in a 2-hour show.

The team is looking for multi-talented players with robust athletic and entertainment skills. Basically, if you can throw a mean pitch and play the saxophone, juggle, or do a backflip, you belong in the dugout!
The Chicago Snowballs will host tryouts January 5-9 at the Rosemont Dome in nearby Rosemont, IL. The season opener will take place on Sunday, May 3 at Kerry Wood Field.
Men and women are encouraged to apply, with all players earning an equal salary and enjoying tons of exclusive benefits.
