Before you know it, we’ll wake up from summer—the days of diving into the waters at a Chicago beach, dining on a rooftop restaurant, and street festivals will be over. However, that means we get to bundle up in our favorite sweater, bite into the crispiest apple, and get a little spooky with Halloween-related activities. One of them is pumpkins, of course. Here are 10 Chicago pumpkin patches to head to this fall.
1. Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch
First on our list goes all out for fall, and before anything can be said dismissing that notion, you should know about a Pumpkin-Eating Dinosaur. You’ll only find that out of all the Chicago pumpkin patches at Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch.
They also hold an annual Fall Festival with loads of seasonal attractions, including a life-sized Charlotte’s Web, corn stalk maze, play yard, and a haunted house. And it goes without saying, some plump pumpkins for the picking.

What kind of attractions, you ask? There is a pumpkin patch, five sports ball zones, a haunted barn, a sniper zombie paintball ride, a climbing wall, gem mining, and more! Of course, their festival comes with all the fixings food-wise: smoked turkey legs, pulled pork parfaits, apple cider doughnuts, funnel cake, and more on the menu!
