Chicago is home to 200 neighborhoods and 77 community areas, each with its own rich history and cultural identity.
Now, the University of Chicago is inviting the public to help define the city’s neighborhood boundaries through a new survey and interactive map.
Dubbed The Chicago Neighborhood Project, the initiative aims to foster a better understanding of Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods.

By participating in the survey, Chicagoans can weigh in on these questions and more. Plus, all participants will be entered into a raffle to win one of twenty $50 gift cards!
