Chicago Jazz Fest is back this Labor Day Weekend, bringing four days of free performances and engagements to the heart of the city.
The 2026 lineup features big names in contemporary jazz including Grammy-winning singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and acclaimed pianist Bill Charlap, 5-time Grammy-winning producer Robert Glasper, and Grammy-winning Cuban saxophonist Paquito D’Rivera.
Additional performers include the Miles Electric Band celebrating the Miles Davis Centennial, a John Coltrane tribute from Chicago sax player Isaiah Collier, and composer Emma Dayhuff.

“Chicago’s jazz legacy continues to shape the sound of music around the world, and the Chicago Jazz Festival is a celebration of the creativity, artistry and cultural spirit that define our city,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson.
“This annual tradition brings together residents and visitors for unforgettable performances while honoring the generations of musicians who have made Chicago a global destination for jazz.”
