One thing we love about summer is when Chicago goes car-free for our favorite festivals.
While we still have a little over a month until June, an anticipated street festival is kicking off early—and the best part? The street will be entirely car-free.
West Town’s ‘Do Division’ fest is back this May
The Summer Do Division Street Fest is an annual street festival that will take place from Friday, May 29, to Sunday, May 31, 2026. The festival will shut down Division Street between Damen and Leavitt, featuring local food vendors and live music.

Over the weekend, more than 30 bands will perform live across two music stages, programmed by two of West Town’s renowned live music venues: The Empty Bottle and Subterranean. While the lineup has yet to be announced, the festival promises to showcase an eclectic mix of local acts and national touring bands.
