One of Chicago’s most unique coffee shops has expanded to the historic Printer’s Row neighborhood.
Cafe Deko has opened a second location at 715 S Dearborn St., bringing its signature Art Deco-inspired ambiance and carefully crafted drinks to downtown.
The cafe launched its flagship shop in Lincoln Park at 800 W Diversey Pkwy. in late 2020 and quickly gained a devoted following for its one-of-a-kind interior.
Gilded globe lamps, patterned wallpaper, potted palms, and earth-toned furnishings transport guests into a world reminiscent of The Great Gatsby. To top it off, Cafe Deko serves mouthwatering coffees, teas, lattes, pastries, and artisanal sandwiches.
Now, downtown workers can step back in time for a morning or afternoon pick-me-up before heading to the office.
The new location features a lush, elegantly curated interior, blending Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Victorian design. Ornate wallpaper, sparkling chandeliers, antique mirrors, and floral touches give the space an immersive feel.
Guests can enjoy specialty espresso drinks, coffee and tea lattes, and fresh fruit smoothies. For a quick bite, the Printer’s Row menu includes lunch and breakfast sandwiches, and a wide array of baked goods.
Next time you’re in the South Loop and craving a stylish escape from the city’s chaos, step into Cafe Deko’s new outpost—where timeless design and rich espresso await.
