On Saturday, August 22, the Anti-Cruelty Society is hosting “Clear the Shelters,” a citywide adoption event that will waive all adoption fees for available pets. Hundreds of dogs, cats, and other animals will be waiting to meet their potential forever families at our shelter in River North.
What to know about the Clear the Shelters adoption event
This year’s theme is “Homecoming,” turning the event into a celebration of Chicago’s most deserving “royalty”: shelter pets looking for their perfect match.
Guests can meet adoptable animals, find their new companions, and help create space for more pets in need.
