A powerful new exhibit will take Chicagoans on a firsthand journey through the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit will be on display at Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park from May 9–10.
Created by the nonprofit Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the traveling exhibit features an 83-foot tractor-trailer transformed into a mobile museum. The exhibit showcases artifacts, audio recordings, video footage, and firsthand accounts from Ground Zero.
Additionally, visitors can take a guided tour led by 9/11 first responders, who will share their experiences from that day.
The exhibit offers a chance to honor the victims, survivors, and first responders who risked their lives during the attacks.
“Rosemont is honored to host the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit at Parkway Bank Park,” said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens in a statement.
“This moving tribute provides our community with a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders and victims of September 11, 2001.”
The exhibit is free and open to the public, welcoming guests from 2–8 p.m. on Friday, May 9, and 12–6 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
