The Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual ZooLights celebration is back for its 30th edition this holiday season with expanded light displays and exciting new attractions.
What’s New at the Zoo?
The hugely popular event will run from November 15 through January 5, featuring hundreds of LED light displays, interactive features, and immersive experiences.
ZooLights will include the new “Light Lounge” for 2024, where guests can relax, unwind with family-friendly activities, and enjoy food and beverage options.
Snowy’s Spirits & S’more pop-up bar will serve up festive cocktails and hot drinks while guests relax around open fire pits and roast s’mores. Guests can also drop by Edie’s Café or visit one of the park’s numerous snack stations for hot cocoa and other treats during their visit.
Additionally, guests can look forward to a ride on a 65-foot Ferris wheel, cookie decorating, photos with Santa, and other special attractions.
Special events and free admission nights
ZooLights will also host several special events during its duration, including an ADA-friendly sensory night, Live music events, and several free admission nights.
ZooLights will be open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Thanksgiving Eve. The event is closed on Tuesdays, as well as on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tickets range from just $7-$10 per person.
