Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge Week doubleheader at Wrigley Field
The Big Ten and Southeastern Conference have announced a doubleheader at Wrigley Field over Labor Day Weekend on Sunday, September 6, according to a release.
The Wrigley matchup is part of Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge Week.
The partnership will bring together the two top women’s volleyball conferences in a full week of competitions, with the Wrigley showcase as the finale.
The Wrigley Field series will feature the following matches:
- Nebraska vs. Missouri
- Penn State vs. Kentucky
“Bringing the SEC and Big Ten together for a championship-caliber volleyball showcase, culminating at an iconic venue like Wrigley Field, reflects the extraordinary momentum of the sport,” said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey in a statement.
Tickets for the doubleheader go on sale Thursday, April 9.
