The North Shore will be filled with music this weekend as the Winnetka Music Festival takes over downtown Winnetka!
Now in its 10th year, the Winnetka Music Festival aims to bring high-quality city music to the suburbs. This year’s lineup features more than 25 distinguished musical acts, including Father John Misty, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Grace Potter, and the Freddy Jones Band, performing on three different stages.
This two-day festival will take place on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20. Here’s what you need to know.

How to get to Winnetka Music Festival

What’s allowed at Winnetka Music Festival?
You are allowed to bring the following items inside the Winnetka Music Festival:
- Backpacks and purses
- Empty, refillable water bottles
- Wagons and strollers
- Folding chairs, lawn chairs, and blankets
- Raincoats and ponchos
Unfortunately, the following items are not allowed at the festival:
- Coolers
- Outside food
- Outside alcoholic beverages
- Pets (service animals are permitted)
- Bicycles
- Umbrellas
- Weapons, fireworks, and drugs
- Tents, balls, frisbees, bag sets, and yard games
- Musical instruments or speakers
- Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment
