Water Tower Place will transform into one of Chicago’s few night markets this July, featuring a variety of food vendors, unique local artisans, live music, and a communal gathering space.
Water Tower Place is converting its fourth floor into a giant evening market
In collaboration with the South Loop Farmers Market, City Market IRL transcends the conventional market experience, making it a go-to spot this summer.
Taking place every Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. on Level 4 of the Magnificent Mile shopping center, City Market IRL is set to have more than 100 local vendors offering ready-to-eat dinner options, vintage and upcycled treasures, and handcrafted gifts.
Tina Feldstein, Co-Founder and Market Manager at the South Loop Farmers Market, said:
City Market IRL is about bringing people together through food, culture, creativity and shared experiences.
We’re creating a vibrant weekly gathering place where Chicagoans and visitors alike can spend an evening discovering local makers, enjoying great food and reconnecting with community.
City Market IRL, like the winter market, will be pet- and family-friendly, featuring expanded seating and lounge-style areas.
