There are many places to make a splash this summer, but one of the most unique spots is Hall Quarry Beach. Located in Batavia, this facility was built into a former stone quarry and has been transformed into a sandy-bottom aquatic park suitable for all ages.
The former stone quarry now features a distinctive outdoor swimming facility with zero-depth water entry, slides, diving boards, a picnic area, a volleyball court, and a 6,000-square-foot sand-bottom swimming area.

Batavia’s unique 6,000-square-foot swimming quarry is open for summer rentals
If you’re looking for an eccentric party idea, you can rent Hall Quarry Beach or the Party Deck. The entire quarry is available for rental from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting at $500. Alternatively, the deck overlooking the quarry can be rented for $125 for three hours.
