Uniqlo is launching its flagship Mag Mile storefront at 600 N. Michigan Avenue, according to a release.
The Japanese fashion retailer has gained viral popularity in recent years for its functional designs emphasizing wardrobe basics and unisex styles.
The opening comes just over 4 years since Uniqlo closed its original Mag Mile outpost in 2021.
Uniqlo is one of several big name retailers to open along the Mag Mile in the post-pandemic era, signaling a new era of growth for the famed shopping district.
Grand opening: giveaways, exclusive merch, and more
Unqilo is hosting a weekend-long grand opening celebration beginning this Friday at 10 a.m.
Shoppers will have access to Chicago-exclusive merch designed in collaboration with local artists and organizations including Louis De Guzman and the Art Institute of Chicago.
The first 500 customers in line will enjoy fun giveaways, including tote bags, Garrett Popcorn tins, and pastries from Del Sur bakery.
