Two Chicago museums are offering free admission this month—but only for one day!

Free admission at Chicago Children’s Museum and Museum of Ice Cream

Chicagoans can take advantage of free admission to the Chicago Children’s Museum and Museum of Ice Cream on Thursday, June 25th.
It’s all part of the Every Child Thrives festival, and three-day conference and festival happening in Chicago from June 23—25.
Both museums feature immersive, kid-friendly exhibitions designed to encourage wonder, creativity, and hands-on play.
From a giant ball pit to a sprawling indoor playground, there are dozens of interactive exhibits perfect for adults and kids alike.
Know before you go

Free admission to both museums will be available at specific times:
- Chicago Children’s Museum – 10:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.
- Museum of Ice Cream – 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The Every Child Thrives festival also includes tons of other free programming, including a tour of the new Obama Presidential Center.
