Few places on Earth can rival the art scene in Chicago. From world-renowned art museums like the Art Institute of Chicago housing work from some of the best painters in history to the very best street artists and muralists making magic happen on the streets of Chicago, art flows in all forms in the Windy City.
While you can easily walk around and see stunning street art murals all over Chicago, it’s rare you get to experience esteemed artists bringing them to life for the very first time.
This weekend, Chicago’s largest mural festival offers just that.
Having started this week, the fifth Titan Walls Mural Festival will culminate in an 8-hour all-day party at District Brew Yards on Saturday, August 12. The event, organized by the art activation agency Muros, showcases some of the best local and international street artists creating new art on the spot.
Guests can enjoy a range of beers from District Brew Yards’ self-serve taproom and food from a variety of local vendors while simultaneously enjoying music from the likes of DJ RTC, DJ Boathouse, and more.
Local creators will also be selling their work and providing information on street art around town.
Artists include Oscar Joyo, Rocodrilo, Jeff Pak, Mr B Baby, Chelsea Lewinski, Shawnimals, Lula Goce, and more.
The Titan Walls Mural Festival Saturday party will take place from noon until 8 pm at District Brew Yards located at 417 N. Ashland Ave.
