Summer is a time to celebrate music—and there’s something to be said for enjoying tunes in a beautiful outdoor scenery where the melodies and breeze become one. Luckily, Aurora is home to an intimate music venue, known as “The Venue”, which is marking its seventh anniversary with two outdoor concerts this weekend.
The Venue in Aurora is celebrating its 7th anniversary
The live music space, located at 21 S. Broadway, has scheduled Chicago Farmer and The Fieldnotes for 8 p.m. on June 26, and the Music of Laurel Canyon for 4 p.m. on June 28. Both shows will take place at the adjacent Mundy Park, rain or shine.
Scott Tipping, the creative director of The Venue, stated:
Our birthday shows are a way to recognize all those who have contributed to the success of The Venue. They serve as a thank you to our community and patrons who support our work.”
General admission tickets for both shows cost $25 plus fees when purchased in advance. Ticket prices increase by $5 at the door.
