Now, The Purple Pig is expanding to the suburbs. According to an Instagram post, the restaurant will open a second location in Oak Brook.

NBC Chicago reports that the new location will span 11,000 square feet and will feature both a full-service restaurant and The Purple Pig Market, which will offer coffee, pastries, pizza by the slice, gelato, and patio seating.
The post indicated that the restaurant will be “worth the wait” and is expected to open later in 2025.
The original location, which opened on Michigan Avenue in 2009, is celebrated for its Mediterranean menu, featuring small and medium plates, charcuterie, cheese, and wine.
