If you’re looking to enhance your home or want to entertain with some new artwork, one of the best art fairs is coming to chicago this weekend.
Presented by Saatchi Art, the Other Art Fair will return to Artifact Events in Ravenswood, Chicago, starting today until November 2—and this edition is bursting with creative surprises.
More than 115 independent artists will showcase fresh artwork, playful installations, and interactive experiences, making it an unforgettable event.

Meet the local talent
This year’s must-know Chicago artists include:
● Dara Schuman – A ceramicist renowned for her colorful, whimsical designs that transform everyday objects into expressive art.
● Elena Fiorenza Gatti – A Chicago-based painter who rose to international recognition after creating the rabbit artwork for Harry Styles’s Love on Tour. Her abstract works have garnered her a devoted following.
● Joe Kraft – A multi-talented and multi-media artist known for his diverse media. His work has been featured on murals, beer bottles, art, and merchandise throughout the city.
Putt at the artist-designed mini-golf
This year, The Other Art Fair Chicago will feature mini golf with five unique, artist-designed holes. Each hole is part sculpture, part installation, and fully playable.
Celebrate at the opening night party
The fair will launch tonight with an opening night party presented by WBEZ & Vocalo. The party will feature DJs, a live performance by Odette Stout, and the introduction of a premium offering featuring limited-edition artwork by All Star Press.
Halloween-Themed “Friday Late”
On Friday, October 31, the fair will transform into an art-focused Halloween celebration, featuring DJs, butterfly taxidermy workshops from The Insect Asylum, tintype portraits with Max Li, and a costume contest. Premium ticket holders will receive an exclusive, limited-edition oversized tote bag designed by Chicago-based artist Griffin Goodman.

A Blind Date with an Artwork
Attendees can explore creativity through projects such as “Blind Date with an Artwork” (a surprise purchase under $200), a photo installation by Lenny Lane, and free collage button-making presented by Northeastern Illinois University’s Art + Design program.
