We still have to wait until next month to see the riverwalk bustling with people sauntering with glasses of wine in hand and dining at café-style tables sheltered by umbrellas. However, that shouldn’t stop us from enjoying a meal on the Chicago River while embracing the breeze of a spring day. In fact, that hasn’t stopped the cast of The Bear.
A few restaurants are open year-round with spectacular patios, and RPM Seafood is one of them. There are many characteristics to admire about RPM Seafood, including the wrap-around patio, the sleek minimalist decor, the full-length windows, the bright, natural lighting, and a menu filled with savory dishes, to name a few. This restaurant is so magnetic that the cast of The Bear was recently seen dining there as a group.

If you’re like us—and not actors in the hit show The Bear—you probably don’t have a fortune to spend there. And to that, we say—don’t worry. RPM Seafood has one of the city’s best and most affordable happy hours.
RPM Seafood just recently launched its first-ever happy hour, and the menu is pretty stellar, if we don’t say so ourselves. All their signature cocktails, including the Crystal Paloma, Classic Martini, and Winter Old Fashioned, are just $10 each.
For sushi lovers, there are sushi bites featuring options like Hand-Cut Hamachi Maki, Bluefin Tuna & Avocado Maki, and Spicy Ebi Shrimp Maki, all for only $10. Their famous Prime Steakburger and Fish & Chips, typically priced at $28 and $57, respectively, are offered for just $18 and $25 during happy hour.

The highlight of the menu is the RPM Golden Kaluga Caviar, served ice cold with traditional accompaniments such as warm blini, crème fraîche, Jidori eggs, shallots, chives, and Amalfi lemon, all for just $75.
