The Chicago Bears could soon be moving to Indiana—and if our sources are correct, they’re taking the Bean with them!
The iconic Chicago public art installation officially known as “Cloud Gate” could be relocated to the Bear’s planned stadium complex in neighboring Hammond under a new proposal.
An anonymous source told Secret Chicago that the Bears are considering bringing the Bean to their new stadium grounds as a way of encouraging fans to make the 40+ minute trip south.

“Nobody wants to drive almost an hour to see the Bears fumble another shot at the Super Bowl,” said the source.
“The hope is that by bringing the Bean to Indiana, fans will have an added incentive to make the hike.”
The logistics for moving the more than 100 ton Bean are reportedly still in the works.
Suggested methods of transportation include a helicopter drop or sending the Bean to Indiana by way of boat.
