Personal finance platform MoneyBot5000 analyzed tax data from the IRS to create a list of the Top 10 U.S. States with the biggest tax refunds.
Illinois claimed the number 9 spot, with an average refund of $5,563, according to MoneyBot5000. The full list is as follows:

- Florida – $6,754
- Utah – $6,638
- Texas – $6,389
- Nebraska – $5,836
