Grant Park is packed with a full roster of exciting public festivals and ticketed events this summer. From Lollapalooza to NASCAR’s big street race, the annual Taste of Chicago festival has had to reroute.
Before the main event this September in Grant Park, Taste of Chicago will once again be hosting a series of 1-day neighborhood pop-ups before the big three day festivities later in the summer.
The big annual event, preceded by a series of smaller surrounding events, is still scheduled for just after Labor Day, but one of the day-long fests is happening this weekend!
Celebrate Taste of Chicago before the big fall weekend with a mini festival at Humboldt Park this Saturday, June 24th. The West Side festival, located at 1440 N Humboldt Blvd, will feature plenty of delicious food options, live performances, and more starting at 11 am and going until 9 pm.
Up next, head to Pullman Park on Saturday, July 15th, and Marquette Park on Saturday, August 5th.
As for the full 3-day festival, the Chicago Public Park District is balancing a series of large-scale private events in the public park space, which moved the annual July event to September 8th through the 10th.
Since 2022, all food vendors have accepted cash and credit cards at The Taste of Chicago. Always featuring an expansive lineup of food options, the smaller pop-up events like the one taking place this weekend, will feature a stunning lineup of local restaurants to enjoy, and plenty of live music to dance to!
The Chicago House Music Festival will also take place in the park.
The free all-day event will take over the Humboldt Park Boathouse Lawn for a series of on-stage performances.
