On Sunday, July 18, an unmissable amalgamation of art forms will encompass a ritzy South Loop rooftop for Chicago’s second Tabula Rasa event. With an array of acclaimed DJs and stunning live art curations, Tabula Rasa provides the absolute pinnacle of Sunday fun high up in the clouds.
This time around, VU Rooftop Bar will be hosting the unique event offering you the chance to rise up to 22 stories high up in the sky where free-flowing creativity will take over a lavish modern setup. A diverse group of musicians, muralists, and performers will be coming together at the 13,000 square foot rooftop for a multisensory experience that is sure to dazzle and delight both your eyes and your ears.
Sounds from house music pioneer and Grammy Award-nominated DJ, Todd Terry, will reverberate around the rooftop as kaleidoscopic live mural creation’s by local artists simultaneously take shape. Meanwhile incredible views of Lake Michigan and Downtown Chicago provide a charming backdrop for the ultimate Sunday experience.
As well as music from Todd Terry there will be performances from Alex Kislov, Kid Enigma, Inphinity, Dom Brown, and DFLO while art from Afrokiller, Birdmilk, Don Mega, and Blake Jones will grace the rooftop.
Running from 5pm until midnight, general admission tickets start at $50 and get you a craft cocktail and light bites in addition to admission.
