If you’re a fan of shows like “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” or “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” you may have heard of a drink called Swig.
Swig is known for pioneering the “dirty soda” craze, which involves customizing nonalcoholic drinks by mixing standard sodas, such as Coke or Dr Pepper (in regular or diet versions), with a combination of creamer, flavored syrups, or fruit juice and purees.
The good news is that you won’t have to travel all the way to the West Coast to enjoy Swig—you can soon find it in Chicagoland.
Utah’s viral ‘dirty soda’ chain Swig expands to Chicago suburbs
According to the Chicago Tribune, Swig has signed a 13-unit development deal with a local franchisee to open drive-thru soda shops in various locations, including Naperville, Crest Hill, Romeoville, and Bolingbrook. The Crest Hill location is set to open in August, with the others following next year.
