Stan Mansion began as a grand Masonic temple built for a local Knights Templar chapter, anchoring Chicago’s Logan Square for much of the 20th century. After Cera Stan acquired the property, she undertook a thoughtful restoration that honored its original craftsmanship while adapting it for contemporary gatherings.
Stan Mansion’s architectural appeal lies in its grand early-20th-century design by Moritz F. Stranch: a refined façade opens to a marble-lined foyer, soaring 25-foot ballroom ceilings and an elevated stage. Dramatic chandeliers and elegant stairways lend the historic former Masonic temple a sense of ceremony while providing highly photogenic spaces for weddings, conferences and concerts.
