When is the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago?
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago 2025 always takes place the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day. The parade will begin this year on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at noon. Like previous years, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will move along Columbus Drive from Balbo to Monroe Street.
Where to watch the other St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Chicago
There are many St. Patrick’s Day parades in Chicago this weekend. While the most famous St Patrick’s Parade happens along Columbus Drive, there are several others to enjoy around the city:
Archer Ave. St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This St. Patrick’s Day parade in Chicago will take place on Saturday, March 15, to celebrate Chicago’s working families. Paradegoers can line up along Archer Avenue as the parade travels from Oak Park to Narragansett.
Northwest Side Irish Parade
The Northwest Side parade is planned to begin at noon on Sunday, March 16. An estimated 50,000 people are expected to attend the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago. The parade will depart at Onahan School, 6633 W. Raven.
South Side Irish Parade
The South Side Irish Parade is another St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago that will also take place on Sunday, March 16. Floats, bagpipers, traditional Irish dancers, and more will travel down Western Avenue. The parade kicks off at noon at 103rd and Western Avenue and will conclude approximately two hours later at 115th and Western.
