Typically, enjoying something sweet—especially when it’s loaded with sugar—might leave us not feeling our best afterward. However, if the dessert you’re indulging in supports a good cause, why not indulge in 20 of them?
SOMOS Hospitality recently launched a two-part dessert collaboration with Dr. Bombay Ice Cream, a brand founded by Snoop Dogg. The partnership debuted at UMMO in early November, showcasing a specially created dessert by Jesús Escalera, Latin America’s Best Pastry Chef in 2018, along with Juan Chávez.
The first dessert features an orange-shaped design featuring Dr. Bombay’s Iced Out Orange Cream. In January, a second dessert, the Strawberry Cream Dream, crafted by Tzuco’s Pastry Chef, Paola Fernandez, will be introduced.

For every dessert sold, $1 will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, a cause that is closer to Snoop Dogg’s heart and a cornerstone of the Chicago community for 120 years, serving more than 15,000 youth across eight locations.
The organization provides a safe, supportive environment for after-school programs and activities, helping young people grow into productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The UMMO dessert will be available for the month of November only.
