The Illinois State Fair is back this August with a headlining performance from hip hop veteran Snoop Dogg.
The “Drop it Like its Hot” rapper will take the Grandstand stage on Wednesday, August 13, according to a release.
The upcoming performance marks the rapper’s second visit to the state fair stage, according to WGN, having previously headlined in 2019.
“We are excited to bring Snoop Dogg back to Springfield and the Illinois State Fair,” said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II. “We know from past experience that he is a crowd favorite with incredible energy.”
