We all know and love Au Cheval, and its respective spin-off Small Cheval, which has been serving up burgers and fries across Chicago since 2015.
Now, prepare yourself for an official Wrigleyville location said to open this spring. The new Wrigleyville spot will take over the space left by Maddon’s Post, and will be the 6th Small Cheval location across the city.
It will include the first full-service bar filled with beer and cocktail options galore. The retro diner’s forthcoming Wrigleyville location will also feature the first private dining space, set for parties, large groups, and more.
With locations in Wicker Park, Hyde Park, and Old Town, amongst others, the fast-paced diner will surely satisfy sports fans and tourists alike. Known for serving up favorites like the Wagyu Truffle Cheeseburger, the Signature Double Cheeseburger, and more, the restaurant also offers a plant-based option alongside gluten-free notifications.
The throwback diner’s new location, created by Hogsalt Hospitality, is currently under construction with plans to open its doors by springtime 2023. But, if you’re looking to try out pork belly bacon, you’ll have to head to Au Cheval!
