Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean we need to give up on summer activities—like waterslides!
Well, more accurately, waterslides without the water.
If you haven’t heard of Slick City, known as the “world’s first indoor slide park,” it opened its first location in North Aurora last year. This expansive 40,000-square-foot action park features giant, colorful slides, indoor games, an arcade, and much more.
And now, Slick City is expanding. It recently opened its second location in Orland Park. According to NBC Chicago, the Orland Park location will take over Gizmo’s Fun Factory, an “indoor fun zone” and amusement center.
The new park will feature many of the same attractions as the Aurora location, such as the “Fast Lane,” “Big Wave,” and “Cowabunga” slides. The park will have sports air courts, laser tag, an aracde, and more.
How much are tickets for Slick City?
Individual tickets for Slick City in Orland Park start at $31.99 for 90 minutes of play. Junior tickets start at $14.99 for ages 3 and under.
Slick City also features special programming, such as a “Little Sliders Club” for kids aged 7 and under, as wellas a designated exclusively for adults.
